The Museum - John Deere BicyclesDuring the 1970's, there was a explosion in bicycles in the U.S. Deere was not blind to this and saw a chance to offer a product that would also contribute to its growing homeowner recreational product line. In retrospect, it would appear that Deere was a bit late in bringing its line of bicycles to market as they never enjoyed the sales that Deere had hoped they might. They were soon gone, left to be discovered by today's collectors as both a valuable collectible and an insight into an interesting segment of Deere's past.
