The Museum - John Deere Signs

Through the years, John Deere has provided their dealers with colorful and durable signs identifying the John Deere line of equipment. Constructed from materials ranging from wood to cardboard to porcelain over steel, all are highly sought after today by collectors.

Reflective John Deere Sign

Click on image for larger view This sign is a bit scuffed but is brand new and was never installed at a dealer. An interesting fact is that the yellow paint in the sign contains reflective crystals which gives an unusual look to the sign.

Tin John Deere Sign

Click on image for larger view This sign is also new and was in storage for years. It is a tin sign attached to a wooden frame.

Porcelain John Deere Signs

Click on image for larger view The top sign is a heavy porcelain sign and is new. It was originally intended for use in Canada and is a very rare sign today.

The bottom sign was made by Veribrite Sign Co and is a heavy porcelain sign done in black/yellow/and red. Note the deer logo and the fact that sometime during its life, this sign has been bent and then straightened back out. Tough life for a sign!

Illuminated John Deere Acrylic Sign

Click on image for larger view This awesome sign is nearly too big to fit into the bed of a pickup! It is a doublesided acrylic sign and was designed to be mounted on a sign pole. It is also illuminated. A very tough sign to find today.

Porcelain John Deere Sign by Veribrite

Restored Porcelain John Deere Sign

Click on image for larger view This sign was original to the Franktown, CO dealership and was just discovered about 4 years ago being utilized as a shelf on a workbench!! Still not completely cleaned up, it is a very unusual doublesided porcelain sign and one that utilizes the four legged deer logo. How many dealers today still have their original sign? Not many I would wager.
